If you request a subscription, we process your email address and the minimum technical evidence of the request and confirmation to send an editorial selection from Ruido Necesario, ordinarily once a month and never more than twice a month.

The legal basis is your consent. Your subscription only becomes active after you confirm the link sent to your inbox. We do not profile subscribers or make automated decisions about them.

service provider

Email delivery is provided by Sendinblue, a French simplified joint-stock company operating as Brevo, acting as a processor under its data processing agreement.

Brevo states that its primary infrastructure uses data centres in France and Belgium. Some subprocessors may process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases Brevo states that it uses, as applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures. Current details are available in Brevo's terms and data processing agreement.

retention

We retain your email while the subscription remains active. After unsubscribing, the minimum data needed to respect your choice and address potential liabilities may be blocked or held on a suppression list, and is deleted in line with applicable retention periods.

recipients

We do not sell or disclose the list. Access is limited to providers needed to operate the service under confidentiality and data-protection duties, or to authorities where required by law.

your rights

You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe with one click in any newsletter. You may also request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by emailing newsletter@ruidonecesario.es. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

children

The subscription is not directed at children under fourteen. Anyone under that age needs authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.

security and changes

We apply measures proportionate to the risk and review this notice if the purpose, provider or operation changes. Where a change requires fresh consent, we will ask for it before the change takes effect.
